Rings and shoes. It’s in the details.

Wedding shoes and rings

One of our most frequently asked questions when a couple plans out their wedding day in what time do we start. We like to arrive at the location where the bride is getting ready 30 to 40 minutes before she puts her dress on. This gives us enough time to capture some candid photos of the often times chaotic goings on in the house. And of course detail shots. This means Snjezana’s favorite things.

Shoes and rings!

Brides love their shoes and love to include them in our detail shots. Sometimes with the wedding rings and other they are part of a boudoir style image with the bride. The rings are not always with the bride. The best man is traditionally responsible to get the rings safely to the church safely. In that case the ring shots are done later at the reception venue. The next and last image in this series in my favorite. I’m in love with our bride Stacie’s choice of shoes for her wedding in Ellicottville NY. Black Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars.  genius.

There is more to photographing wedding details. I will focus more on the other aspects in a future blog. Things like the bride and groom getting ready, and of course the dress. It’s all about the dress!
