Wedding day details. Say yes to the dress.

A few more rings shots 

Yesterday I focused on the wedding shoes and rings.

Today i want to show some photos of the brides wedding dress and a couple getting ready images. First, I want to post three more ring shots that were inspired  by the groom not the bride. Mike is an avid dart player. We stopped in at Pearl Street Grill and Brewery to get out of the rain. After some pics with the wedding party it was time for a round of darts. It seemed a perfect choice to take the ring shot here. I love this image.

The next shot is also one of my favorites. Our groom Thomas is an active duty member of the military. I used his sword and hat as the backdrop in this composition.

I think this next image is the paragon of masculine ring shots. Chris loves to work on his vintage Volkswagen microbus. So it only made sense to tie a ribbon holding the rings around a wrench!     

Wedding Dress

One of the most anticipated moments of the pre-wedding preparations is seeing the dress for the first time. We love to capture it as it hangs before the bride steps into it. That could be in front of a window or from a tree.

That is where we find Tara’s wedding dress at the Lodge at Glendorn in Pennsylvania. 

A beautiful sunny day at Holiday Valley Resort sets the scene for Stacie’s dress. It’s seen here hanging from the outdoor deck. 

Jena’s wedding gown was spectacularly on display here on a dress mannequin in her family home.  

A row of wedding shoes is the foreground for Megan’s dress hanging in the bridal suite of the Avanti Mansion.

You can’t call them detail shots without details. Wedding gowns are very intricate in their design, so it’s important to focus on these characteristics.

This next photograph leads us into shots of wedding participants as they get themselves ready for the biggest day of their lives. This wedding dress hangs patiently waiting for its bride Julia as she applies finishing touches to her makeup.
