Any season is the season of love. Today we’re celebrating the four seasons.
Celebrating the season
If you like variety then you’ll love Western New York weather. Sometimes we get all four seasons in one day! As wedding photographers we realize there are no guarantees when planning your wedding day for any particular season. That being said, let’s assume we all live in a perfect world and take a look back at some idealistic wedding photos by Fisher Creative Image created throughout all four seasons. We’ll start with most peoples favorite,
Summer.
This first image takes us to camp Oswegatchie in the Adirondack Mountains. It is a perfect Summer day as Jessica and Chris enjoy a quiet moment dipping their toes in the lake. Jessica grew up spending her summers at this camp as a little girl. So what better place to get married to the man she loves than a place held so dear to her heart.
Lilia and Justin share a back lit kiss while framed in a doorway at the beautiful Isabell’s Painted Gardens in Edinboro PA. I remember having trouble staying hydrated on this hot and humid summer day.
I love this shot of our bride Kelsey and her groom Bryan because it represents enjoying the simple pleasures in life and love. Just having some fun on a summers day.
Autumn
Now Summer in waning and the crisp cool days of Autumn slowly take over. Nothing can rival the splendor that is the colors of autumn. There is no better place in Western New York to capture the true spirit of the fall season than Chestnut Ridge Park. Mike and Mary were blessed with the quintessential fall day for their wedding.
Before they ventured to Chestnut Ridge, Mike and Mary stopped at Como Park near their ceremony site at St. Mary’s on the hill.
Winter
As the glorious palette of Autumn fades and falls away Old Man Winter steps up to place his icy grip on our region. Many of us have learned to embrace this old man and celebrate his season. Laura and Jonathan are two of these hearty souls. They wanted a winter wedding with snow and the old man delivered. Here they are in front of the Mansion on Delaware in Buffalo.
Chestnut Ridge was also the setting for wedding shoot with Vanessa and Taylor.
Kelli and Joshua pose under the columns of the Karpeles manuscript library while a gentle snowfall enhances the scene.
Spring
As pretty as winter can be, by the time March and April come around our thoughts turn to the new life that warmer days bring to Spring. One of the first signs of Spring are the cherry blossoms that bloom in the Chinese Gardens behind the Buffalo Historical Society building. This is where we find David and Christine on their wedding day.
Although the calendar calls for Spring to show up in March, In WNY sometimes it takes until May to take hold. Even the leafless trees of March and April can add to a composition. As in this shot with Meghan and Andrew at a chilly Erie Basin Marina on the Buffalo Waterfront.
