Wedding Photography: FCI looks ahead to 2016

As this long Buffalo winter drags on and slowly turns to spring another wedding season is just around the corner. While I would be the first to admit that having some extra free time to spend with family and friends is nice, I’m excited to get back to shooting weddings and getting to capture the joy and excitement that comes with the big day. Our couples are the reason my wife and I love this job, photography is our passion but it’s the friendships and connections we make with our brides and grooms that make each wedding so special and memorable.  Many of our couples continue to work with us long past their wedding date with their newborn children. As a result some of our closest family friends are former clients. Every wedding we do is special for us and we do everything in our power to make it a pleasant experience for every couple we are fortunate enough to work with.  As anyone in the wedding industry can tell you there are no ”redo’s” when it comes to weddings so our twenty five plus years of experience and unwavering pride in our images ensures our ability to deliver our very best work every time. Having a good relationship with our clients allows us to better manage the hectic schedule of the wedding day while at the same time capturing each special and fleeting moment while minimizing the stress on our wedding  couples.  In the end it is our goal that each wedding is a memorable experience and to make it a great day for our couples.

However, the end of the wedding day is just the beginning of the artistic process. The magic really happens in post production editing. Most of our wedding images are captured with our unique editing style in mind. Combine our expertly crafted lighting, creative composition, dramatic posing, and idiosyncratic camera angles with our state of the art editing tools we routinely deliver that “wow” image our clients get excited for. What sets Fisher Creative Image Photography apart from many other wedding photographers is that we will edit every single photograph our wedding clients will see from their wedding day, not just a select few of the photographers favorites. Snjezana and I routinely spend twenty to thirty hours in post putting our special artistic thumbprint on every image.

Although our 2016 wedding season started in January this year we are looking forward to kicking off the new year in earnest with a road trip to beautiful Skaneateles in the Finger Lakes this March. Looking ahead, we can’t wait to work with this years amazing wedding couples we have been blessed to shoot for, and to deliver the stunning artistic imagery they have come to expect.
